Nazira Rafei -- Another Female Sex PredatorWhat is it with female teachers nowadays? — a female teacher in Australia, Nazira Rafei, has been charged in court for allegedly telling her 15-year-old male student to treat her like a “sex slave”.

Is it me or has there been an escalation in the number of such cases involving female sexual predators?

Handing out Gospel tracts in a Muslim area is a “hate crime” — according to WorldNetDaily, two American pastors were told that it was a “hate crime” to hand out Gospel leaflets in a predominantly Muslim area in Birmingham, England.

I wonder if the same rule applies if a Muslim evangelist hands out Islamic tracts in a predominantly Christian area.

Some what?

This isn’t of God, people! In fact, it reminds me of those temple mediums in the kampung (village) I observed as a child. Even as I watch this, my wife listened in and remarked that he (Todd) is just freaking her out.

As my good brother The Pilgrim says, this is demonic possession and we are witnessing demonic manifestations here.

WARNING: Please make sure that you are well covered by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ before you watch the video!

Please pray for those who are blindly mesmerized by this charlatan.

World Famine — The Third Seal Opened?

An unprecedented worldwide famine is silently sweeping across the globe, leading many Christians to wonder if the third seal of Revelation 6:5-6 has indeed been opened, and the horseman on the black horse is already galloping across the globe.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

James TwymanOn April 5, The Moses Code, a film by James Twyman, will be opening in a theater near you.

What is the Moses code anyway?

Well, the trailer claims that “35 hundred years ago, God spoke to Moses and gave him a code that became the foundation of the Law of Attraction and the Laws of Manifestation”.

Huh?! Which part of the Bible says that there was such a code?

Well, remember the words spoken by God to Moses when the latter asked for His name?

Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Exodus 3:13-14

Now that you know, watch the trailer and barf:

Slice of Laodicea has more on this movie, including (get this) how there will be many prayer groups all over the world holding prayer vigils in tandem with the release of the movie:

If you don’t read anything else on Slice today, please read this post. Following in the footsteps of The Secret and its teachings on the Law of Attraction, a movie is opening April 5 called“The Moses Code”. Please read about it, watch the trailer, and realize that 1000 prayer groups all over the world are holding prayer vigils like this one (see April 5) as they screen the movie. In the trailer when the actors in the movie come out with the blasphemous “I AM” statements, it sums up perfectly the New Spirituality we’ve been warning about. These are folks who believe that THEY are God. These people are praying for this evolutionary “shift” in the consciousness of the planet. So while these Satanic prayer vigils are going on, what is the evangelical and emerging churches doing? Helping things along by holding hair and fashion shows like Victory Church in Amarillo last Sunday instead of preaching the powerful Word of God; by holding yet another Christian sex event like Mark Driscoll, the foul mouthed preacher boy, who is now holding “Song of Solomon” conferences where he gets to talk about breasts and oral sex and justify it because, it’s in the Bible, after all. You can see Driscoll’s disgusting video right here. (Why is it that when these guys talk about sexuality it always carries a feeling of grime?) While Christian pastors obsess about sexuality and serve as ringmasters at their evangelical circuses, the enemy is holding prayer vigils. When is the last time you heard about one of those in a Christian church?

I am guessing there’s a feeding frenzy now on on all things New Age, with New Age priestess Oprah Winfrey’s recommendations to millions of her viewers to study “A Course in Miracles” by Marianne Williamson, watch “The Secret” DVD and promoting the latest “Get Ready to be Awakened” series of online courses by Eckhart Tolle on one end, and movies such as these on the other.

And I don’t think I exaggerate when I say that I’ve never ever seen occult practices pushed so blatantly in mainstream media! Until now…

Indeed, I am convinced all the more that we are living in the end of days, when such self-love and foolishness shall be prevalent.

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:2-7

HT: Slice of Laodicea.

Don't waste your money and time on this book!I get both really riled up and sad at the same time whenever I hear or read of those who profess to be serving God fleece gullible people out of their hard-earned money while giving them false promises.

Oh, you wolves in sheep’s clothing! Woe to you!

Just read about this poor woman — Cindy Fleenor’s a 53-year-old accountant, someone smart by academic standards anywhere in the world, and she’s been conned into writing so many checks to these wolves in the shape of Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer and Paula White that she has to borrow money from friends and payday loan companies just to buy groceries!

And when the promises didn’t come about (of course they didn’t, because they are false!), she learned that it was because her faith wasn’t strong enough.

Is it any wonder that she’s now bitter and angry? And the worse thing is that this episode might just push her away from God and she loses the real promise — salvation — because of the misdeeds of these wolves!

Doug Pagitt1 just cracks me up!

Yet it’s sad at the same time that this is what leaders of the Emergent Church movement are telling their congregations and non-believers who might be genuinely interested in Christianity.

In this phone interview that was broadcast on Way of the Master Radio, listen to Doug Pagitt totally deny the existence of hell, or even judgment for those that deny the Lord Jesus Christ.

Enjoyed part 1? Listen to part 2 of the interview at YouTube.

I’m aghast and flabbergasted that there are people who buy into this absolute filth and nonsense!

If you have never come across the terms “Emergent Church” or “Emerging Church” movement, here’s a great feature done by PBS that explains what the movement is all about.

Indeed, we have already been well warned of such heresies and apostasies in the Bible. Paul wrote twice in 2 Timothy about this:

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

2 Timothy 3:2-5

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

Shalom Aleichem.

It appears that the Vatican has done it again, i.e. changed what is clearly stated in the Bible, God’s Word, to something else at their whim and fancy.

This time, it has to do with where our Lord Jesus Christ was at His birth.

Now, I don’t care much for putting up the Christmas tree or nativity scene during Christmas as I don’t really celebrate the festival as a Christian, but this piece of news piqued my interest because by doing this, the Vatican is in fact saying, “Let’s ignore both Gospel records and the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy!”.

Take a trip to Lourdes during the “special offer” period starting this weekend till December 8, 2008, says Pope Benedict XVI.

This piece of news had me both laughing and shaking my head in disbelief (yes, I can do both at the same time!). Yet, on the other hand, it also saddened me to know that there’d be Roman Catholics who will believe this spiel and make the pilgrimage and be filled with false hope!

Be Warned, Beware!

If you haven’t noticed this video series, it is about time you do!

The Emerging Church with her brand of 21st Century faith (what in the world is 21st Century faith anyway?) which includes mysticism, eastern philosophies and is a whole load of ecumenical nonsense has, not surprisingly, made its way into our churches.

And if you think that this movement is just now coming into being, think again — pastors, churches, congregations, and even audiences of popular TV and radio shows like Oprah are now being inundated with all the New Age mumbo-jumbo week in week out.

Protestant Rosaries?!Protestant rosaries, that’s what!

Oh dear, oh my.

No, I am not condoning the site that sells them by linking to them, but you can find out by right-clicking on the picture, selecting “Properties”, and finding out the site’s location from there if you so wish.

They’ve got Anglican/Episcopal and Lutheran rosaries alongside those for Roman Catholicism.

If there’s one other thing I don’t agree with the teachings of the Roman church, it’s the practice of using rosaries, and therefore repetitions, in prayer. For our Lord Jesus Christ says this about prayer:

And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Matthew 6:7
