While most Americans were out celebrating with friends and family over a good barbecue and enjoying the fireworks during the recent Independence Day holidays, Todd Bentley was having a whale of a time dispensing his sheek-a-boomba and creating his own ‘fire!’-works at the Lakeland Baptism Extravaganza.

Wow! Before the 2 minute mark I had to quit. The human theatrics are nauseating. I’m sorry to be so blunt, but ‘vomit’ is what comes to mind with this. Thanks as always for your commitment and calling to expose satan’s many counterfeits.
Have you seen the Statistics on Religion report by the Pew Forum (http://religions.pewforum.org/reports). I came across it just today.

I actually made it through this one. It’s amazing that something can be so funny and yet at the same time, so sad…
Just a couple of thoughts here.
1. I wonder if he is paying royalties to Emeril?
2. I have come to the conclusion that it wasn’t fire in the pool, it was exactly the opposite…onset of hypothermia
BAM!!

Shalom, Kerri! It’s great to see you! I’ve read about the great news at your blog. You guys will always be in my prayers.
I saw that report and it shocked me. I thought about it some more and I was surprised that it should shock me, because given the number of false market-driven conversions we have today coupled with circus churches, we shouldn’t be surprised that the numbers are so!
The church hasn’t touched nor influenced the world, but the world has come into the church and is wrecking havoc.

Ha ha, Mike, I’d agree with you on the sad but tragic part. I’m guilty — I laughed at the part where there was the “5 Bam Baptism” flashing; looked to me like some video game where you had executed a rare move.

These folks seldom do, which is all weird to me really. Don’t they realize they are openly using His name in vain and are in rebellion?
