World Famine — The Third Seal Opened?

An unprecedented worldwide famine is silently sweeping across the globe, leading many Christians to wonder if the third seal of Revelation 6:5-6 has indeed been opened, and the horseman on the black horse is already galloping across the globe.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

Canadian Report: All Religions But Christianity Should Be Welcomed

MONTREAL, May 22, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Every religion but Christianity should be welcome in public life in Quebec, according to a government report. Crucifixes must be removed from the National Assembly and classrooms and Christian prayers banned from city council meetings but students should be allowed to wear their Islamic hijab, Jewish kippa, Sikh turbans and even the ceremonial dagger called a kirpan.

I am guessing they are kind of afraid of the two-edged sword that the Bible is!

European Union’s New Treaty Approved in Germany

Ever witnessed the birth of a beast? This one certainly is growing!

The treaty would alter the EU’s decision-making process, envisioning more decisions by majority vote rather than unanimous endorsement. It would also provide for an EU president and a more powerful senior foreign policy official to give the bloc a stronger voice in global affairs.

The treaty replaces a more ambitious draft constitution that EU leaders drew up to govern a bloc whose membership has expanded from 15 to 27 nations in recent years. That charter was rejected by French and Dutch voters in 2005.

Women Win Rights To Have Children Without Fathers

Perhaps we shall soon see men labeled as obsolete except as sperm donors, fulfilling the deepest, darkest and most wicked fantasies of the most militant feminists?

The Times reports that single women and lesbian couples have won landmark parental rights as MPs in the United Kingdom voted to remove the requirement that fertility clinics consider a child’s need for a father.

The move will also mean that fertility clinics have to stop turning away lesbians and single women because their children will not have a father or male role model. While the current law does not block such therapy, it is sometimes used to justify refusals.
