The LORD Heals

Hallelu YaH!Thank you, everyone, who has remembered me and the pain I was going through in your prayers!

The LORD heals indeed!

Hallelu et Adonai!

Prior to the procedure this afternoon, I’ve heard so many horrible stories from friends and colleagues about how much pain some of them had after having their wisdom teeth extracted surgically.

But because of all your prayers, the LORD has healed me and seen to it that I am not suffering in pain after my surgery.

I’ve just awoken after a good few hours of much-needed sleep, and there’s absolutely no pain, whatsoever. Yes, read that: NO pain!

No doubt I’ve had painkillers and am faithfully following the instructions to complete the prescription of antibiotics, but with my limited knowledge from the testimony of others, I know that suffering no residue pain at all in the immediate hours after the surgery is a miracle in itself.

Thank you, LORD, for you are good and merciful. Thank you, LORD, for you are our Jehovah Rapha!

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 103:1-5

Amen!

Yes I believe it was a miracle that you didn’t feel any pain. When I got mine pulled, my face and neck was swollen and my gums hurt for two weeks. Unrelenting, excruciating pain! It doesn’t feel like a regular tooth that’s been pulled! That’s workable but a wisdom tooth? forget about it!!!

    God bless you!

Hallelu YAH! Thats HIM! I’m not surprised!

Help us to see more of Your goodness and be filled with godly anger against those who say anything like “God sends sickness and pain”.

The devil is deceived so many people to believe that he is god. He sends sickness and disease, and when people say “God sent this pain or sickness to teach me a lesson”, they’re attributing Godhead to satan!

    God heals! He heals! HalleluYAH!

I am pleased greatly that you have been healed brother. I wish that I could connect with you on that aspect. My miracle was never having had wisdom teeth at all. They are just not there nor have they ever been.

Ouch, Carol, ouch! I can’t withstand that kind of pain for more than a couple of days, and yet you went through with a fortnight of it! Couldn’t the dentist do anything about the pain?

I hope that’s the end of your troubles, and you never have any more teeth-related pain!

    Shalom Aleichem.

    Thank you, ChannelofHealing! :-)
Uh, no, not yet, I still have the stitches on, and they’ll only get removed Saturday morning. In the meantime, I’m not taking any chances and keeping to liquid and soft foods, but at least I can eat some bread and I’m preparing a good soft piece of tofu for supper later.

At least I got to lose some weight, I think, lol!

    Shalom Aleichem.

No way, Mike, you are kidding me! You have no wisdom teeth?! Wow! OK, now that’s both a miracle and a blessing!

Thank you so much for your concern, Mike. You’re a wonderful brother, and I really appreciate it.

    Shalom Aleichem.

I never let a tooth extraction hold me back. Right after, I’d get a burger, sip Pepsi through a straw and smoke a cigarette - all of the things you’re NOT supposed to do. I’d do all of this with gauze over my exposed gum. I was a rebel! Laughing in the face of “dry socket.” MUHAHAHAHA!

Until I got my wisdom tooth pulled, then I was incapacitated, drugged up on pain killers and antibiotics with no food, drink, or cigs. and crying like a baby. :)

    You’re quite the rebel!

Tooth extractions are alright by me as well. In fact, I even enjoy the injections right before the extraction, especially the one where the needle goes direct for the nerve. Ooh, super-duper pain but bliss at the same time!

To be honest, right now I’m quite enjoying the fact that I cannot eat much of anything too solid. The soft diet is making me feel quite good, being cleansing and all. I feel lighter too, so that’s a *huge* plus!

    Shalom.

(You have my sympathies - had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out in college - not fun.)
