Arutz Sheva, or Israel National News, on 2 December 2007 published details of the completion of the High Priest’s crown, or tzitz in Hebrew (video presentation). The tzitz is made from pure gold, in accordance with God’s instructions to Moses.
You shall make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, ‘Holy to the Lord.’ And you shall fasten it on the turban by a cord of blue. It shall be on the front of the turban. It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear any guilt from the holy things that the people of Israel consecrate as their holy gifts. It shall regularly be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
Exodus 28:36-38
All that’s needed now is the Third Temple in Israel, and we shall know that we are indeed in the final week of Daniel’s vision when there shall be great tribulation, and when our Lord Jesus Christ shall return in glory and majesty!
Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us during His ministry on earth that a third temple shall indeed be built in Jerusalem and will be part of the unfolding of events as given to us in the Book of Revelation.
So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
Matthew 24:15-21
How about the priests, that are to come from the tribe of Levi, you ask? Only the tribe of Levi is to be priests and minister unto God in the Temple. How do we know who are of the tribe of Levi, or Levi’im (Levites)?
Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and shall wash them with water and put on Aaron the holy garments. And you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest. You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them, and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.
Exodus 40:12-15
Remember the recent amazing news of the successful identification of the descendents of Aaron using DNA technology? That’s right, there is now positive identification of a whole congregation of priests, or Kohanim, tested through DNA technology and proven to be descendants of Aaron! Quoting from the news report:
Molecular geneticists have recently discovered the “Kohen Modal Haplotype,†a Y-chromosome DNA lineage signature shared by a majority of both Ashkenazic and Sephardic Kohanim. This indicates direct patrilineal descent of present-day Kohanim from an ancient ancestor, genetically dated to have lived approximately 3,000 years ago, corresponding to the time of the Exodus from Egypt.
With the tzitz completed, and the Kohanim all identified, the Temple Institute is now working on “…120 sets of garments for ‘regular’ priests”.
In other words, all necessary people and items for the Third Temple will soon be ready, and all that’s needed is the re-building of the Temple in Jerusalem on which the Temple Institute has “…begun work on architectural blueprints for the Third Temple, including cost projection, modern supplies, electricity, plumbing, computers, etc.”!
These are exciting times indeed, my dear brothers and sisters!
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.†Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
Revelation 22:20
Shalom Aleichem.

The rebuilding of the third temple presupposes that the last week in Daniel is still future. (gap theory) I will not get into it here (perhaps I’ll write something on my blog) but I do not believe that time stops and then reconvenes in the future because a specific timeframe was given. There is a beginning and an end to this prophecy and it must be fulfilled exactly to the day, in the time specified - otherwise we could never be sure of it’s Divine Authorship. Also, with this ‘third temple’ -sacrifices will reconvene which the act itself rejects Jesus’ work on the cross allowing everyone to come into the Holy Place as symbolized by the curtain being made rent. And if there are sacrifices being made, then that place is not Holy .
Danie’s 70’s weeks needs to be reexamined. So does history. Many will disagree with me on this no doubt but I will not get into this here - not the right place.

Dear Sidharth:
It will be before, if what I understand from reading and charting the timeline is correct.
God bless, and Shalom Aleichem.

Dear Carol:
Thank you for the interesting note. I look very much forward to reading your take on this if you decide to post it.
God bless, and Shalom Aleichem.

Hi Isaiah, You know, I find it interesting that in the articles I read about the lampstand that has now been finished for the third Temple that it did not seem to me that the details as recorded in Exodus for how it was to be made were followed. In Exodus, it tells us that the lampstand was to be made from one piece of gold, hammered and fashioned into the lampstand, and that the demensions of it were not given (for who can measure the Light of God.) Since this is so, how then, I wonder, could they have made an accurate “copy” of it? Just one more reason to be aware that this third temple will not be of God. Blessings to you, and Shalom.

I agree with what you said, Shalene.
Neither do I think that it will be necessary for our salvation, nor do I think that the Jews, by performing sacrifices in the temple will be saved, because the Messiah has come and they know Him not!
Animal sacrifices are no longer necessary, nor does God desire them anymore, for the ultimate sacrifice has been made in Christ Jesus.
I share your view that the third temple is just a necessary part of the things that shall come to pass in the 70th week.
Shalom!
