Hello Adullamite!

It's great to see you here, mate! How are things with you?

We sure do fail often, but our God is faithful and just and He will keep encouraging us to pick ourselves up again. And you know how great it is when we have the promise that we can cast our burdens on Him?!

Yes it does sound so selfish of us, but that's what God promised! With our burdens off and God's other promise that His yoke is light (Matt 11:28-30, KJV), what excuse can we give for not going for that abundant life?

God bless, and Shabbat Shalom!

hi there Michelle:

My apologies for the late reply. As I told Shalene, I blame work, lol!

To be honest, I just realized that recently too and it was such a revelation to me that I knew I had to share it. What God gives us is straight to the heart and that's where the gifts are the safest, and where nothing and nobody can touch them unless we surrender them.

I was having an alright week until the load hit mid-week as you can see how my posts stopped abruptly.

God bless, and Shabbat Shalom!

hiya Shalene:

My apologies for the silence -- work's been kicking me in the butt all this week. I didn't enable moderation at all, but I know why your comment was held for moderation. Apparently the filter catches anything with more than a link in it and yours had 2.

I will be heading over to read them real soon! :-)

Feel free to plug your posts anytime. After all, we are sharing God's Word and it's free-flowing for whoever thirsts!

God bless, and Shabbat Shalom!

Very good post!
We all fail here, and how!
But Jesus is the life, yet we, certainly I, prefer shiney things that attract, rather than God himself who longs to give abundant life.
Thanks for this.

Another great post : ) I loved the section where you mentioned that no one can take away our joy and peace... unless we ALLOW them to. Thanks for the mini wake-up call... really put it into a perspective of passivity for me! Hope you're having an excellent week!
