Blessed Fellowship

FellowshipDear Brother, Dear Sister,

I cannot even begin to describe how blessed I feel every time you leave me a comment with words of encouragement, or point me in the direction of truth, or join me in prayer.

Because since I started my blog in June, I have grown much in my faith in God and understanding of God’s Word, thanks to all your encouragement, support and most importantly, your friendship.

And it is amazing that though some of us are thousands of miles apart, there is so much common ground!

There are some people that I have never really thanked for all the encouragement and support that they have given me since day one, and I’d like to mention them here.

With a big, big hug, here’s my thanks to you all:

  • Casey at Casey’s Critical Thinking for all the encouragement and help. Thank you, brother, for even taking the time to help me troubleshoot problems with the blog crashing on some browsers.
  • ChannelofHealing at Channel of Healing for all the encouragement and kind words even when I thought some of my posts were rather drab.
  • Brian Gill at Apathetic Lemming of the North for his critique of my writing style, and the great tips he gave me on writing better.
  • TruthofmyKing at Wesley’s Blog for the encouragement and leading me to your blog where I learned much more about faith and God.
  • Harmony at At the Study for all the comments and discussions that spurred me to examine and learn more.

And here’s a big, big hug going out to you as well, for reading this blog, for commenting on my posts, for your prayers, for your blessings, for sharing your life with me, for teaching me, for encouraging me, and most of all, for your friendship.

Most of all, I thank God for blessing me with brothers, sisters and friends like you!

The Lord bless and guide you. The Lord bless and keep you in His love. The Lord give you His peace, which passes all understanding. Amen!

Shalom Aleichem.

It’s my pleasure, Isaiah. I’m very glad to have made your acquaintance. I hope someday I’ll get to bother you in person, as well. The learning help, by the way, is mutual. I’ve been encouraged by your blog and the discussions on it. There are some things in the Bible I’ll be delving deeper into thanks to your blog.

I’m sure all will agree that it would be hard NOT to support such a cool guy with such a cool blog. You really do a fine work here! :)

    Dear Casey:

Thank you, brother, for your kind words and all your help! I don’t think I have thanked you enough. :)
I don’t think I’ll have enough to visit Japan for a good while, but I’d really love to see Japan as it’s fascinated me for some time now.

Do come to Singapore to ‘bother’ me one day! :)

    Dear Sister Free:

You are always so kind and encouraging. :)
I shall always hold on to 1 Corinthians 13 as the guiding principle to what I write. And I pray that as I continue to blog, that what I write is written out of love and that it is of profit to my readers.

God bless you, sister, and Shabbat Shalom.

And thank you, Isaiah, for having such a warm, welcoming writing style! You make everyone feel welcome here and are always kind and courteous in your comments. Can’t help but be supportive of that! : )

P.S. Sorry if my last post scared you… our house IS kinda nuts right now : )

    My sister Michelle:

Thank you, too, for you are always full of kind words and encouragement, and it is such a joy to read of your family life and children! Jacqui is such a blessing and joy!

Ha ha, which house is not a little riotous with young children? I have always believed that it’s better for children to run and fall and learn to get up, than to keep them holed up. What better way for those who are parents to show love other than to afford their children a memorable childhood?

For these are memories that we shall keep with us till we depart to join the Lord.

As for me, 1 Thessalonians 5 is my guiding principle. :)

    Sicarii,

I truly thank you for your kindness. Your writing is an inspiration to me. The way you are unafraid to be a servant of Christ in your writing is awesome. May God save you and keep you.

    Dear ChannelofHealing:

Your words of praise do put me to shame a little for I am nothing as near what you said, really. Sometimes I feel I am just a clanging cymbal.

Admittedly, I am also bad at receiving compliments, and sometimes have doubts that whatever I do isn’t ever good enough because there’s so much disobedience in my walk with God.

    God bless, and Shalom Aleichem.

    Dear TruthofmyKing:

Like I told ChannelofHealing, I don’t feel I deserve the praise, but I do appreciate all the feedback and encouragement!

Because it is through interacting with all of you that I have grown to be stronger against sin and disobedience, and strive to be a true disciple.

    God bless, and Shalom Aleichem.
